p,p,p,p,p,Popcorn!

This week we continue to learn about p - Pippy pig and adjectives (describing words) We use adjectives to make our stories more interesting. For those who need a challenge you can work on the sound sh... come up with as many words as you can that have this sound at the beginning OR in the middle of the word!!!

Please spend lots of time ensuring that your child knows the SOUND that the letter makes. Talk with them about some other words that start like that sound.

This week on Tuesday we have a science teacher from the University of Waikato. She will be teaching a lesson in Room 2 about 'change'. Fingers crossed for some cool science experiments!


KAPA HAKA

Kapa Haka begins this week on Monday afternoon. We will have a performance group who go every week and then juniors have a session with her every odd Monday afternoon and Seniors every even afternoon.
