ASSEMBLY
Today we presented at assembly (it was very last minute as we were meant to be on our trip at lake Rotokare). We filmed it so we could share it with you. The children did so well - I was very very proud at them getting up in front of the WHOLE school!

Cross Country
Room 2 (and our whole school) are training for the SJB annual cross country. This is held at Peringa Park - Friday 29th August. We will be going out to train every day before lunch to get our fitness up and to ensure the children are prepared - this way it will be enjoyable for them :) It is all about having a go, and trying their best (Parents and Miss Allen might even run with them...)!
HOT CHOCOLATE MAKING
Today the children made their own hot chocolate. We talked about what it tasted like, felt like, looked like, smelt like.
